It is a luxury jewellery brand founded in 1988 Los Angeles, currently runned by Richard and Laurie Stark. At the beginning Richard teamed up with John Bowman, a leather-goods manufacturer , and the jeweller Leonard Kamhout, who only used sterling silver. They focused on producing leather goods for the biker world.
Eventually they were asked by some LA directors of doing some outfits for their films. The first one they work in was Chopper Chicks in Zombietown, where one of the actresses introduced the brand to the Sex Pistols´ member Steve Jones. Jones helped CH to get known among rockstars as Lenny Kravitz, the Cult, Heart, and Mötley Crüe.
The brand has collaborated throught the years with brands and celebrities as Comme Des Garçons, Rick Owens, Off White, Adidas or the Rolling Stones.
Some of the most interesting pieces are the bracelets made to fit a Rolex watch and the 8-foot leather dinosaur with a silver penis.

- They made the costume design for Nicolas Cage in the film “Ghost Rider”
- In 1992 Richard Stark won the best designer prize but he didn´t even know it. He was not famous at all and every time that someone called talking about it he just rejected it thinking it was a prank.
