#DOCUMENTARIES Antifashion

This documentary created in 2012 shows how fashion has changed since the 80´s as well as during the following 20 years.

The documentary starts with characters like Yohji Yamamoto and Rei Kawakubo, who reinterpreted how the human body shape looks while dressing by looking at clothing as sculptures, playing with volumes and materials and using runways as performance places.

Then the documentary drifts to the belgian designers who came from the Antwerp-six collective, who started recycling and deconstructing materials. Another topic is the Helmut Lang era and his minimalism.

You cannot miss this one because it will help you to understand how fashion has changed in just an one-hour view. Definitely, this documentary is a pretty easy way to learn about recent history in fashion being so entertaining at the same time.
